Download & install Trezor Suite

Desktop

  2. Confirm the words on the device when prompted to ensure you recorded them correctly.

Genuine Check & installing coin apps

Use Trezor Suite’s Genuine Check to confirm the device hasn’t been tampered with. After verification, install apps for the blockchains you intend to use (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, etc.). Apps are small programs that allow the device to interact with specific networks — removing an app does not move or delete funds.

Add accounts, send & receive

  1. In Trezor Suite choose Accounts > Add account and select a cryptocurrency.
  2. Open the matching app on your Trézor device when prompted so Suite can scan and display balances.
  3. To receive: click Receive, confirm the full address on your device display, then share it.
  4. To send: click Send, enter recipient and amount, then verify and confirm the transaction on the device screen.

Always trust the address on the Trézor device display — if it differs from the app, cancel and investigate.

Advanced users can enable a passphrase (adds a hidden wallet) for extra security, set up multi-signature schemes, or use coin-control features to manage outputs. Passphrases are powerful but increase responsibility — losing the passphrase is equivalent to losing access to a hidden wallet.
